Brown Rice

Many dog food manufacturers use white rice because it is inexpensive and quick to digest, but it is a highly refined carbohydrate with much of its natural nutrition removed. At Mother’s Best, we choose brown rice because it is a whole grain that retains its fibre, B vitamins, and essential minerals, providing slow release energy, better digestive support, and more sustained nutrition for long term canine health.
